One of my favorite signs of fall is when the giant maple tree in our front yard starts to turn shades of yellow, orange and red. Though I must admit, my least favorite part of fall is raking all those leaves! Oh, well. I guess we need to take the bad with the good.
I had my bucket of Prisma pencils handy for this card. First, I layered a black notecard with a piece of a jack-o-lantern note card and a piece of pattern paper from the Nightfall 6×6 pack. I gave the pattern piece a torn edge. Next, I stamped the Museum Tag (E1771) twice onto kraft paper with black ink and cut them out. Using another pattern paper from the pack as my background, I stamped the Maple Leaf (E1794), trimmed out the body of the leaf and layered it over a stamped leaf on the Museum Tag. I love how this looks like a true fall leaf. The otherTag has a portion of the Brilliant Maple Branch stamped on it and colored with Prismas. I attached these with a bronze brad and then adhered them to the card with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping the Happy Fall Label (B1778) onto kraft paper, coloring the leaf and adding a few drops of Glossy Accents to it before adhering to the card.
