Kindness Card
by Donna Sledzik

Hello everyone!  Today’s card features stamps and stencils from the Spring Cheer release.

I started by die cutting the Vintage Tray Die from Gina K Designs masking magic paper.  I placed the mask on a white cardstock panel, and used a blending brush to apply light blue ink around the edges of the blocks.  This creates a nice shadow around the blocks.

I left the mask in place and stamped the Cheerful Flower with black ink.  I used a heat tool to dry the image before using the coordinating layering stencils to add color to the stamped image. I used dye inks and blending brushes for the coloring.  I followed the steps on the stencil guide to add color to the stamped image.

To add some texture to the panel, I inked the back side of the Altenew Grip Mat with white ink and stamped it across my panel.

Next, I spattered the background with white and gold inks.  Once the inks were dry, I removed the mask from the paper. I trimmed it and glued it to a thin black cardstock mat.  This was glued to a pink cardstock mat and then adhered to a white card base.

I stamped and die cut the word kindness from white cardstock and glued it to the card.  Underneath the word I stamped the words “changes everything”.

To finish the card I added some Fairy Drops for more texture, and that’s it!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
