Hello everyone! It’s Theary here back on the blog. Today I am sharing a Christmas inspired card using the exclusive collaboration release with Simon Says Stamp called, So Very Merry.
I stamped out the adorable snowman using a black dye ink onto an alcohol friendly cardstock. I used my alcohol markers to color the image. Then, I used the trees and stamped that onto SH44011 Powder Blue cardstock with a clear embossing ink. I poured white embossing powder over the ink and heat set that with my heat tool. To add a little more interest to the scene, I used a light blue ink and blended that over the edges of the card panel. I also trimmed down the panel to 2.75 inches by 5.5 inches.
For the background panel, I used the beautiful snowflakes border stamp included in the So Very Merry set and stamped that onto white cardstock with the same ink that was used for the blending.
I then stamped the sentiment with a black pigment ink on the lower right of the card panel.
I popped the blended panel and snowman over the background panel with foam squares to give it dimension.
Then, added gems from GEM102 Winter Fantasy Fairy onto the center of the snowflakes.
Finally, I adhered that to a side folding card base.
