The Crocosmia Stems die 94879 seems to be an early favorite of Design Team members as we all begin to play with the items from the newest 2025 Peony Collection from Memory Box. Once I made one card I had to make more! Here's my set of three:
materials used
- CROCOSMIA STEMS 94879
- HELLO BUTTERFLY CLEAR STAMP SET CL5289
- GREENERY CARD STOCK SP1011
- SUNRISE CARD STOCK SP1013
- Hero Arts inks in Fresh Peach and Butter Bar
- VersaFine Clair ink in Grass Green
to make the "sent with love" card
- die cut the Crocosmia Stems from watercolor paper
- color the flowers and stems using the inks and fingertip daubers; assemble the flowers
- cut light green card stock 4 X 5 1/4 and add it to the front of a side-fold horizontal A2 notecard
- cut a panel of yellow card stock 3 X 4 1/4 and add it to the center of the green panel
- stamp "sent with love" from the Hello Butterfly clear stamp set using VersaFine Clair Grass Green ink on a piece of yellow card stock 1 1/2 X 3; mount this on a scrap of green card stock and trim
- add the sentiment to the note card
- add the flowers to the left of the sentiment
to make the "feel better soon" and "Just a note" cards
- start with a white top-fold A2 note card
- add a yellow card stock panel cut 4 X 5 1/4 to the front
- die cut the Crocosmia Stems from watercolor paper
- color the flowers and stems using the inks and fingertip daubers; assemble the flowers
- cut a dark green card stock panel 2 X 3 1/4 and add it to the upper left
- add the flowers to the green panel
- stamp the sentiment on a scrap of yellow card stock using the VersaFineClair Grass Green ink, trim it and attach it to a scrap of green card stock; trim
- add the sentiment panel to the front of the note card
Think this set of three note card with envelopes will make a lovely gift for a friend's birthday this month. Welcome spring! Here in Maine we set the clocks ahead onSaturday night/Sunday morning so it makes it feel even more like spring here even though spring won't be here officially for a couple of weeks.
