Hello everyone. I have another background card, but I am reusing an earlier technique. I loved it so much I had to create another card. I hope you like this technique.
Background:
Randomly spread Distress Crackle Paste Opaque over an A2 size multimedia paper. Let air dry. Use Distress Crayons in the listed colors and randomly apply; Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Tattered Rose, Aged Mahogony, and Scorched Timber. Dip your finger in water (or a baby wipe) and rub the crayon colors together using an up and down motion. Let dry.
Focal Image:
Die cut the Gentle Peony Bloom and Peony Bud Trio die set from white card stock. Ink blend the petals with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose and the stamen with Scattered Straw. Ink blend the leaves and stems using Peeled Paint. Form the petals using your fingers. Adhere the petals together using the envelope as a guide.
Assembly:
Adhere the background to a side folding A2 size white card. Adhere the leaves, buds, and flower to the center of the card. Adhere a Happy Birthday Foil Greeting Black Tab under the flower.
