I'm still working my way through the variety of peonies dies in the latest Memory Box collection. Today's card features PEONY BUD STEMS 94876 and DELIGHTFUL PEONY BLOSSOM 94875.
materials used
- PEONY BUD STEMS 94876
- DELIGHTFUL PEONY BLOSSOM 94875
- MAGNOLIA PLAID PP1021 (or use any of the plaid paper collections with a color that coordinates with the painted flowers)
- BLUSH CARD STOCK SP1012 (or use one of the solid color card stock pieces from any of the 6X6 SP collections that coordinates with the plaid and the painted flowers)
- A2 white note card
- watercolor paper
- watercolor paints
to make this card
- cut a piece of plaid paper 5 1/4 X 4 and add it to the front of the note card
- cut a piece of one of the card stock papers 4 1/4 X 3 and add it to the center of the plaid paper
- die cut the PEONY BUD STEMS and the DELIGHTFUL PEONY BLOSSOM from watercolor paper
- watercolor the image pieces
- assemble the flowers–use the envelope images to guide you
- add the flowers to the center panel–the Peony Bud Stems first with glue on the stems and dimensional foam under each bud; and then use dimensional foam to add the Delightful Peony Blossom in the center
This card is quite similar in design to the one I posted last week and it is suitable for any occasion–just add the appropriate sentiment on the front or inside the note card! I can't wait for the peonies in my garden to blossom! Happy Crafting!
