Celebrate a summer birthday with bright felt flowers! Layer them on a Notched Eyelet Frame and add a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tab. We’ve done many floral designs using basic techniques recently. Creating and attaching the slender stems are the “real” techniques on this card!
They’re repurposed Wavy Sheet Music diecuts. Here’s the technique:

Prep the Wavy Sheet Music die by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help release the delicate “stems.” Cut it from a medium-green 6×6 in the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock Pack. Attach one of the curvey offcut strips over the right-hand edge to create a solid green base (and hold everything in place). Trim the short ends.
Remove the treble clef – the remaining tips will now be the top of the stems. Attach all 7 stems with a single strip of douiblestick tape along the base. The blossoms will secure the tops of the stems.
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to light pink, medium pink and pale peach wool-blend felt. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it. Cut an assortment of flowers from the Fringe Flowers and Lucky Blooms die sets, assemble the flowers. Cut the centers from a light green 6×6 in the Greenery pack
Prep the 3″ wide Notched Eyelet Frame by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help remove the tiny circle offcuts. Cut the frame from white cardstock. Attach it to a top-folded white A2 card with foam tape to add dimension and shadows.

Attach a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tab. Add 1/4″ dots punched from the pink Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Happy Mother’s Day to Moms everywhere!
