No stamping today… I feel guilty saying that!
Instead my project today features the beautiful bird cage die and the wonderful Memory Box Papers.
I started with four pieces of the lovely Yuletide paper and die cut them using the bird cage die. I distressed them with white acrylic paint. and folded each one in half with the pattern paper facing inwards.
I taped the white side of the birdcage and matched the edges. I did this all the way around and created a three dimensional birdcage. This would have worked much better to put the pattern paper on a double sided sheet of tape and cut it out and put them together.
I then added glue to the outside and sprinkled chunky crystal glitter all over my birdhouses.
I found a nice branch trimmed from outside by my DH. I added a coating of chunky glitter to the top of my branch too!
I had some lovely shimmer birds from my holiday decorations who fit perfectly with my theme. Added a few clumps of pine cones and I have a lovely hanging art. It was difficult to get a good picture. (Hence the sheet held up by my son. hee hee) But it looks gorgeous handing over the table from the fan.
