Sledding Penguin Tag
by Donna Sledzik

Happy Thursday everyone! I have a cute tag for you today featuring the Sledding Penguin die from the 2026 Christmas Charm release.

I began by die cutting the largest Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch from white cardstock. I hand cut a hill from white cardstock and die the bottom edge from the same scalloped arch die so that the edges of the tag and hill would match up. I lightly added some Weathered Wood ink to the tag.

I die cut the Evergreen Tree Stand from green cardstock, inked the edges with a darker green ink and glued it to the die cut tag. I trimmed off any overhanging trees from the tag.

The hill was glued to the tag and white texture paste was applied to the edge of the hill. I sprinkled glitter over the paste while it was still wet and set it aside to dry.

Next I die cut the penguin as follows: The hat and scarf were die cut from patterned cardstock, white and black cardstock for the penguin body, silver metallic for the sled and orange for the beak and feet. I used white ink to highlight the black parts on the body and gray ink for the white areas. I assembled the penguin as shown on the package. I used foam tape to adhere the penguin to the card.

I spattered the tag with white ink. I might of gotten a little carried away with the spatter!

The foil strip was added to the tag with foam tape.

To finish the tag, I punched a hole at the top of the tag and added twine for hanging.

That’s it for today! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
