I love the new patterned papers, both DASHING STRIPES AND DOTS PP1002 and DASHING HOLIDAY PP1001. I've used up most of the brighter colors, so today's card features the gray plaid and a dark green stripe. This might just be the perfect guy card to send for the holidays or any time this winter!

I began by using a white notecard and adhered a piece of the gray plaid paper 4 X 5.25.
I cut the ANTIQUE PINE LABEL 94337 from the dark green stripe…

…and used a glue pen to secure it to a piece of white cardstock cut 2 X 3.25. I used foam dots to add this piece to the card front.

I cut JOY AIRY SCRIPT 94325 from a scrap of the gray plaid and twice more from white cardstock and glued them together in a stack for more dimension. I glued JOY to the label opening.

And that's it! Clean and simple, easy, and another way for me to use the label die. I've been using many of the different label dies to create tags or to add to the fronts of envelopes. I like all of the dimension on this card and the shadows created by the layers.
How have you been using the label dies? And have you used up a whole package of the new papers yet???
Happy Crafting!
