Let it Snow
by Donna Sledzik

Good morning everyone! I have another Christmas card for you today!

I started by stenciling texture paste through a snowflake stencil onto white cardstock.  I only used a portion of the stencil. Once the paste was dry, I used foam tape to adhere this to a white card base.

Next I die cut the Diagonal Stripe Collage from red cardstock and glued that to my card.

I die cut the Scribble Snowman from white cardstock and the Scribble Outline from black cardstock.  I glued the outline to the snowman backgound and put this aside.  Next I added washi tape to the card and used foam tape to adhere my snowman on top of the tape.  To embellish the snowman, I hand cut a nose and hat. Then I used some epoxy dots for the eyes, mouth, and buttons.  I tied a piece of twine around his neck for a scarf.

On a strip of black cardstock, I stamped and white heat embossed “Let it Snow” and glued that to my card.

I added 3 buttons to my card for a finishing touch. It’s a pretty simple card.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week!

  1. What a cute card! I love how you used the snow flake stencil and I love the diagonal stripe die. I can see the die being used on many different cards.
