Happy Saturday everyone. I love rainbow creations any time of year, so I couldn’t think of a better time to make a rainbow card than during the most wonderful time of the year! There are several samples of rainbow color wreaths on social media, but I think the idea started with rainbow queen, Laura Bassen.
I used the Bountiful Wreath die to create a clean and simple (CAS) card. The wreath was die cut from mixed media paper. Left the die-cut piece in the negative space, then ink blended Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet distress inks (DIs) with blender brushes to color it.

To fill the wreath, the small sprig from the accessory die was die cut from mixed media paper and coloured with the same DIs. For variation and texture, they were spritz with water and blot with a paper towel. The sentiment from the Christmas Tile stamp set was white heat embossed on black cardstock then fussy cut out. Assembled the card onto a Bristol panel and popped up the sentiment with foam tape to finish.

I had some trees left over from making this tri-fold card, so I kept the rainbow fun going and made a second CAS Christmas card. The Memory Box supplies used are listed below

And that concludes my post. Thank you for joining me. Have a wonderful day,
