Thinking of You
by Donna Sledzik

Good morning everyone!  Today I have a fun technique for you.  I watched a YouTube video by Natasha Foote showing this floating shape technique.

The first thing I did was to die cut the flowers and leaves from white cardstock and inked them with Distress Oxide Ink.

Once they were colored, I placed them face down onto a sheet of Gina K Masking Magic Paper.  I tried to place them as close together as possible.  Next, I placed my heart die on top of the images and die cut it.  The images stick to the masking magic which is a low tack paper.  I adhered foam tape to the images and then glued it to my card front.

I placed it onto my card and lightly pressed it down to make sure everything was glued down.  Next, I gently peeled off the masking magic.

I spattered the card front with gold ink and adhered it to a black cardstock mat.  Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and glued it to the front of the heart.

I adhered the card front to a white card base, and that’s it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
