Cut Poinsettia Plaid and Poinsettia Garland 6×6 prints with the Vintage Tray die and layer the coordinating offcuts for a quick card. Transform those bits and pieces of stashed papers into a background for a diecut and embossed Poinsettia Rub-On. Hi, Jean here – let’s use those offcuts from a previous post.
Dark pink cardstock was diecut and embossed with the Vintage Tray 3D Embossing Folder – you’ll have 5 woodgrain pieces. The 2 large “almost-square” pieces were taped together to create a long strip.
Poinsettia Plaid and Poinsettia Garland Vintage Tray diecuts saved from an earlier card were used here too.
Cut the poinsettia rub-on transfer with its clear plastic and paper liners, leave a generous border around it. Carefully remove the paper liner and gently press the transfer onto white cardstock. Place it between 2 pieces of printer paper and run it through the diecut machine using the plates you’d use for cutting. Don’t remove the plastic liner. Cut it with the die included in the Perfect Poinsettia 3D Embossing Folder set.
Place the diecut (still covered with the plastic liner) in the folder and emboss it to add more texture. Remove the plastic liner.
