Celebrate a spring or summer birthday with a trio of Exquisite Butterflies. A slimline card – with lots of white space – balances the shimmery, shiny metallic 6×6 artpapers. Hi, Jean here with a simple design for a special occasion.
Cut Exquisite Butterflies from a gold Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad 6×6. Cut a turquoise Rainbow Reflections 6×6 with the 2″ wide Wrapped Stitch Rectangle Layers die. Assemble the butterflies and attach them to the rectangle – use foam tape for the upper wing sections.
Carefully remove the entire sheet of the turquoise and gold Anemone Grove 6×6 – including the top edge that’s attached to the pad. Cut it with the 1-⅛” wide Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die.
Cut a turquoise 6×6 from the solid-core Lagoon Collection with the ⅝” wide Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die.
Attach the diecuts to a white slimline card (3-⅝” x 8-½”). Add turquoise Christmas Fairy Dewdrops. Add special wishes with a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings White Circle Tab. Cut a slimline-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
