North Pole Express Holiday Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone!  I have a holiday card using the new Yuletide release.

Background:

3D emboss using the new Winter Knit folder and red paper for the Blush paper pad.  Trim down to 4″5 1/4″.  Use a white pigment ink and rub it lightly on the top layer of the embossed paper.  Rub it around the edges of the paper.

Focal Image:

Die cut the 3rd largest Scalloped Frame die from a gold glitter paper from Majestic Hues Glitter pad along 2with the bows from Pretty Presents.  Die cut the Pretty Presents from your favorite Yuletide Cheer pad. Adhere with glue.  Die cut the sleigh from Horse and Sleigh die set from the same red paper used for the background and gold from the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad. Trim the red paper removing the bottom and adhere on top of the gold paper. Add Glossy Accents to the sleigh and let dry.  Trim a piece of white card stock to fit instead the Scalloped frame.  Stencil with the Falling Snowflake stencil (my new favorite) using Distress Oxide ink Iced Spruce.  Adhere into the Scalloped frame using glue.

Sentiment:

Stamp, white emboss, North Pole Express from the Holiday Wishes stamp set on the same red paper as the background.  Die cut using the matching die.  Cover with Glossy Accents and let dry completely.

Assembly:

Adhere the background on a side folding white A2 card base.  Adhere the scalloped frame to the center of the card.  Adhere the presents to the back of the sleigh and adhere to the left side of the frame.  Adhere the sentiment to the right side.
