Fast-forward…and it’s already the third week of fall! Pink and peonies aren’t usually fall-ish – but here’s a pink, gold and a bold bloomer. It’s the Delightful Peony Blossom on a Cinched Frame background from the Nutmeg Forest 6×6’s.
Cut the 2.1″‘ x 3.4″ Cinched Frame from the pink and gold Nutmeg Forest floral print. The ruffled edges match the fluffy peony petals. Cut a .75″ x 4.75″ strip of matte gold cardstock. Attach them to a top-folded cream A2 card.
Cut Delightful Peony Blossom from the pink/taupe Blush Solid Core Cardstock Pack 6×6. There are 6 large single petals – we’re using 5 of them here. Cut the stamens from matte gold cardstock. Assemble the peony and attach it to the card – use foam tape behind the large petals on the right edge.
Cover cream cardstock with ScorTape and diecut the solid HappyFall Stylish Script background. Cut the detailed top layer from the pink/taupe cardstock – leave the diecut in the die. Remove the little offcuts in the letters and between the words. Press the words (still in the die) firmly onto the adhesive-covered background. Carefully remove the die. Cover the remaining exposed adhesive with detail clear embossing powder and heat-emboss the greeting. It’ll be aligned and securely attached!
Attach the greeting with foam tape. Punch 1/4″ dots from scraps of the floral print. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
