Floral Birthday Card
by Donna Sledzik

Go0d morning everyone!  Today’s card features the Breezy Bouquet stamp and die set.  I thought it would be fun to color this image with Copic markers.  Plus I need practice using them!  I was inspired by a video I saw by Yana Smakula.  Her coloring videos are amazing and I thought I would give it a try.

I started by using my Misti to stamp the image using Copic friendly ink and white cardstock.

Copic Colors used:

Flowers: RV11, R85 and R89

Small Flowers: Y11, Y13 and Y17

Large Leaves: YG17, YG67 and G29

Small Leaves: YG03, YG17 and YG67

The background panel was lightly inked with Lost Shadow Distress ink and spattered with gold ink.  This was glued to a black cardstock mat and foam tape was used to glue it to a white card base.

Once the Breezy Bouquet image was colored, I die cut it with the coordinating die and used foam tape to adhere it to the prepared background panel.

To finish the card, I used foam tape to adhere the Happy Birthday Foil Tab to the card.

I hope you liked today’s card and are inspired to create something today!
