Happy Birthday Princess
by Jean Okimoto

Create a  card for a  birthday princess with the new Party Time 3D Embossing Folder and the 3-piece Party Time Stencil Set.  A lot of pink and a bit of glitter will make it special!  Hi, Jean here with a colorful design to brighten a cold winter day.

Cut heavy white cardstock with the largest Rectangle Basics die.  Spritz both sides of it with a list mist of water.  Pressure-emboss it with the new Party Time 3D Embossing Folder using the plates required for your machine.

Daub or sponge the design with the new 3-piece Party Time Stencil Set – gently heat-set each color before adding the next color.   Distress Oxides were used here – kitsch flamingo, worn lipstick and ripe persimmon.

Cut the new Happy Birthday Marker Script background from dark pink textured cardstock.  Spritz both sides with a light mist of water and pressure-emboss it with the detailed greeting overlay using the rubber embossing mat and plate(s) required for your machine.  Embossing creates a debossed background to easily attach the top layer.  Cut the detailed top layer from light pink cardstock.  Cut light pink cardstock with the 2-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ Rectangle Basics die.  Assemble the greeting and attach it to the rectangle.

Borrow the crown – from the Regal Bird die set – and cut it from a Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6×6.

Attach everything to a top-folded white A2 card.  Handcut 3 little pieces of the glittered cardstock and attach them as accents.  Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Thanks for visiting our blog…keep safe and warm and have a great weekend!
