Hello everyone. I have a simple masculine birthday card to share today featuring the Regal Bird die from the 2025 Birthday Wishes collection. I adore the crown that comes with each bird die in this collection! 👑
The bird and foliage were die cut from white paper. Ink blending with distress inks (DI) was done to color the bird layers, while the foliage pieces were colored with Copic Sketch markers. The crown was die cut from gold mirror and gold glitter papers.
DI used:
Brushed Corduroy, Lost Shadow, Black Soot
Copic markers used:
greens – YG03/07, BG07
browns – E23/25/29
The three nest layers were die cut from brown gradient color cardstock. Used the Happy Birthday Background Plate to die cut from Bristol paper. Removed all the sentiments (saved them to use later), then adhered the negative cut panel directly onto a white card base. This gives a faux letterpress effect. Next, the music notes were die cut from black glossy paper. Assembled the card to finish.
