Cuit Elegant Peony Blossom from Cherry Red Cardstock. Cut the 3 stamen sections from Black Glossy Paper (cardstock). Assemble the blossom.
Cut the curved overlay section from the Black Glossy Paper too and attach it – upside-down – at the bottom of the blossom. It’s hard to see on the completed card pictures, but adds a faux-sepal finishing touch.
Pressure-emboss Black Glossy Paper with the Bubble Dots Plate using the rubber embossing mat and other plate(s) required for your machine. Cut a 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ strip.
Cut a 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ strip of Black Glossy Paper. Cut a 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of black cardstock. Layer the strips to create a background.
Cut the small dragonfly from the Azure Dragonflies set from the light gold Majestic Hues Glitter Pad 6×6.
Attach the strips and diecuts to a light Kraft A6 card (4-1/2″ x 6-1/4″). Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
