Hi everyone. I have a tag featuring the Wildflower Field stamp. I have been drawn to making tags lately and finally have one to share on the blog.
Background:
White heat emboss the Wildflower Field stamp on a #8 mixed media tag. Ink blend using Versafine Clair Ink in Grass Green ¼” up from the bottom and Paradise from the top down. Color the flowers using oil pastel color pencils. Since the background is used a pigment ink and needs an opaque medium to color the flowers. I used my oil pastel pencils, but paint markers or acrylic paints.
Focal images:
Die cut the small dragon fly and butterfly from the Garden Beauties die set from white card stock. Color using the oil pastel pencils in the same colors as the flowers. Use black for the body. Blend the pencils using your finger or a pencil blender. Use a glitter pen to add sparkle to the die cuts. Adhere together using the envelope as a guide.
Sentiment:
Stamp sunshine and wildflowers from the Sunshine and Wildflowers stamp set with black in on white card stock. Fussy cut out. Adhere to the tag using glue. Use some purple ribbon and tie it off with white twine.
