I've been thinking about Milo Mouse (who I see as the Country Mouse) and why he might meet up with the Town Mouse. On this card, he's bringing her flowers from the country. Are they sweethearts? Or good friends? And what are they celebrating? 
materials used
- white top-fold A2 note card
- plaid paper from GLADIOLA PLAID PP1027
- red card stock from BLUSH SP1012
- white card stock; a small scrap of black card stock
- the largest of the CHERISH HEARTS 94882
- the smallest flower stems from GARDEN PAIL BOUQUET 94889
- MILO MOUSE 94900
- TOWN MOUSE 94898
- Prismacolor pencils
- glue pen; dimensional foam dots
to make this card
- cut a piece of plaid paper 4 X 5 1/4 and add it to the front of a top-fold A2 note card
- die cut the largest of the Cherish Hearts from one of the red card stock papers in the Blush Collection and add it to the front of the note card
- die cut Milo Mouse, the Town Mouse, and the small flowers from the Garden Pail Bouquet using white card stock
- color the images with Prismacolor pencils; I love Milo dressed in denim with a straw hat and the Town Mouse in a pink jacket with frilly trim
- assemble the mice; use tiny scraps of black card stock behind their eyes and noses openings
- tuck one of the flowers into Milo's hat and attach the others by his right "hand"
- add the Town Mouse to the lower left area of the heart using dimensional foam dots; add Milo in the upper right area of the heart
I've left plenty of space in the heart and above it to add an appropriate sentiment. This could be used for a birthday or anniversary, to send get well wishes, or for a thinking of you card.
