Greetings from the Village Mouse
by Jean Okimoto

Tall Evergreen Trees – on an  offcut  from a previous card – create a sparkly winter scene on  Christmas greetings.  Hi, Jean here with an upcycled background and the new Village Mouse, ready for the holidays.

Cut the largest Nested Globe from a white Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad 6×6.  Cut three Tall Evergreen Trees separately to keep them from shifting as they roll thru the machine.

Cut  dark green cardstock from the Greenery 6×6 set with the Nested Globe die.  Attach them – slightly offset – to a white A6 card (4-1/2” x 6-1/4”).

Cut Village Mouse from dark gray and light taupe cardstock.  Cut the back layer for the eyes and nose from Black Glossy Paper.  Cut the scarf from the red and white Yuletide Cheer 6×6 print.  Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to red wool-blend felt and cut the coat.  The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from saturating it.  Assemble the mouse and attach him to the card.

Add an instant greeting from the new Merry Christmas Foil Greetings Large Black Tabs – trim the ends – use foam tape for the right side.

Add red Christmas Fairy Dewdrops.  Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Thanks for visiting our blog…have a great weekend!
