There’s a lot to love about the new Christmas Charm release, but I was immediately draw to the Christmas florals and greenery. The new Harvest Basket was the perfect container. I started by die cutting lots of greenery from the Pine and Berry Spring and Evergreen Holly Bundle, and a poinsettia from the new Fresh Poinsettia Bundle using papers from the Greenery Paper pad and some Cherry Red cardstock.
Next up was the Harvest Basket cut from medium dark brown and kraft cardstock. I did some ink blending to create a bit more dimension and interest before assembling the basket. I also added some ink blending to the greenery and the poinsettia. For the berry stems, I die cut them from dark green paper and then added the red berries to the stems.
I dipped the evergreen branches in some glue and then into some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I love that bit of sparkle.

Finally I arranged all the foliage and poinsettia in the basket, using glue and some dimensional tape. I backed the Merry Christmas Black Foil Circle with a slightly larger circle die cut from the Cherry Red cardstock. All of it was then added to a 5”X5” cream card base.
I’m way behind this year in creating Christmas cards so this new release came just at the right time! I hope you’ll find inspiration here. Thanks for stopping by!
