Merry Christmas Card
by Donna Sledzik

Hello everyone! Today I have another cute Christmas in July card for you!

I began by die cutting one of the Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frames in the center of a red cardstock panel. Next I die cut the red panel using the Pinpoint Snowflake Plate which added a little texture to the cardstock.

To create the white frame around the arch on the red panel, I used the same arch die I used for the opening on the red cardstock plus one larger arch die. I glued the white frame to the opening on the red cardstock panel.

I die cut the Evergreen Tree Stand from green cardstock and glued it to a white cardstock panel trimming off some of the die cut trees to fit within the opening of the arch. I spattered the panel with white ink and adhered the red arch panel to it.

I die cut the snowman from white cardstock, the hat from black, the scarf and hat brim from red cardstock. I assembled the snowman and used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

The greenery over the top of the arch was die cut from green cardstock, and the berries from red cardstock.

The Merry Christmas words were die cut from black cardstock and glued to a white cardstock shadow layer. I used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

To finish the card I used a white gel pen to add snow and highlights to the die cuts as shown.

That’s it for today! Thanks for stopping by!
