Surprise someone with a holiday slimline card in frosty winter pastels. Peach, pink, gold and soft green set the scene for the new Brass Handbell. The Poppystamps Birthday Fun prints are great for holiday designs too!
Cut the solid Brass Handbell twice – from matte gold cardstock and light kraft cardstock. Cut the gold diecut with the detailed cutout die – then layer it over the solid kraft diecut. Cut the handle from light kraft cardstock. Cut the decorative top knob and band from kraft cardstock. Assemble the bell.
Cut the new Perky Bow from light pink cardstock. Cut the pine needles and small 2-piece holly leaves in the Evergreen Holly Bundle from a Greenery Solid Core Cardstock Pack 6×6.
Cut medium-pink cardstock with the 1.5 x 6.5″ Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangle die. Peach and gold prints from the Poppystamps Birthday Fun 6×6 pack are used here. Cut a .75″ x 4.25″ strip of the dotted print. Cut a .75″ x 6″ strip of the striped print. Attach the strips and rectangle to a white slimline card (3.5″ x 8.5″).
Attach the bell, bow and greenery – use foam dots for the leaves, bow and bottom edge of the bell. Cut dots from the pink Delicate Pastels 6×6 with the holly berry die from the Evergreen Holly Bundle set. Add a Merry Christmas Foil Greetings White Circle Tab. Cut a slimline-sized piece of cardstock to protect the cardfront front for mailing.
Slimline cards are a nice surprise. The recipient probably assumes the envelope contains junkmail or a bill. They’ll love it when they realize it’s a special card from you!
