Christmas Sparkle

 
   If you're like me, you just can't get enough of the wonderful Memory Box dies.   I just returned from teaching a Memory Box class last night where everyone had a great time using many of the new die cuts and became very adept at working with them.  They're a cinch! 

  Here is a card we will be making in the next class and features 4 different dies—it's not the traditional red and green color scheme so I hope everyone likes it!

    Glitter and sparkle are the essence of Christmas so let's bring it on with a pale blue scallop circle completely covered in crystal glitter.  (Click on the photo to enlarge) To get even coverage run the scallop circle paper through a Xyron machine then dunk it into a "glitter bath".  I always keep my crystal glitter in a flat tub and either spoon it onto my project or shuffle the card into the tub, tapping any excess back into the container.  

  All the papers on this card are from the Yuletide designer paper collection–it's hard to decide which ones to use first!

One of my favorite parts of this card is the sentiment using the Christmas Sparkles stamp and coordinating die called Essex Label. 

With a little creative snipping I layered the the cream colored piece on top of an identical truffle brown piece.  Here's what the actual die cut and stamp look like:
