Maple Wreath

I had a hard time choosing which stamp to feature for this post.  I finally settled on the Maple Wreath.  It was one of the first stamps from the new collection that caught my eye. 

There are so many options for coloring this beautiful image.  I decided to go with Twinkling H2O's.

I stamped Maple Wreath (G1793) on cold-pressed watercolor paper with Versafine Black Onyx ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.   I colored the image with Twinkling H2O's.  There are so many color choices, but I went with:

• Sunflower
• Poppy Red
• Spiced Pumpkin
• Wild Vine

After the image dried, I die cut with Maple Wreath Die (98200) and then just touched the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink using a finger dauber.

The card is 5 X 5 made from a piece of Squash card stock.  I added a mat cut from Chocolate Soiree card stockand then popped up the wreath with foam tape.  I put a little bit of Holly Stickles on my index finger and spread a very thin layer on the colored image.

I finished off the card with a little green bow.
