Windows really gnaw at my creative bone. When I saw the Grand Madison window die #815 from Dave's kid's company Poppy Stamps I had to have it.
You can look out a window or you can look in a window. The ideas are boundless.
For this card I cut the window from kraft paper and textured it with my cuttle bug. I lightly sponged brown ink to the ridges to make them stand out. I stamped an oldie but goodie stamp Tree Silhouette E1302 onto paper from the new Yultetide collection using markers. I cut a piece of acetate and stamped snow flakes from the stamp Snow Day B1378 with white Stazon ink. I adhered the acetate to the back of the window. I glued the tree silhouette onto a red panel from the Yuletide collection too. Using foam tape I mounted the window over the tree panel. If you look closely at the card you can see a 3-D effect from the snowflakes on the window. I finished the card with a embossed white saying from the Christmas Cheer Block #E1299 and a few snow flake gems.
