One can never have too many holiday tags! I use them for gifts, to "hide" gift cards (taped on the back),on card fronts, tucked in card pockets, on journal/scrapbook pages, and in many more ways. During today's class at Your Maine Stamper we made several layered holiday tags stamping on white card stock using the three new Distress Inks–Iced Spruce, Evergreen Bough, and Festive Berries. Here are three tags that you can make!
TAG #1
- G1797 Vintage Christmas Words in Iced Spruce; trim close to words; mount on black card stock slightly larger so there's a border around the words
- E1771 Museum Tag in Festive Berries; trim close to image or cut out with die 98145; punch hole and thread with red ribbon; layer on top of the Vintage Christmas Words
- D1773 Holly Sprig in Evergreen Bough; color with Prismacolor pencils in two reds, two greens; trim close or cut out with die 98206; pop dot on top of Museum Tag
TAG #2
- G1780 Blank Ticket in Iced Spruce; trim close to image or cut out with die 98213; mount on black card stock and trim close; orient Blank Ticket horizontally
- D1814 Holiday Decor Birds in Archival Jet Black stamped near top of Blank Ticket; color with Memento Markers
- B1808 We Wish in Archival Jet Black stamped on the ticket under the loop of lights between the two birds
TAG #3
- G1781 Index Card in Iced Spruce; trim close or cut out with die 98214; mount on black card stock and trim close; orient horizontally
- C1813 Skating Sheep and/or C1812 Puffy Sheep in Archival Jet Black stamped directly on the Index Card; color legs black and hat and scarf red using Prismacolor pencils or Memento Markers; use a white Uni-ball Signo pen or glue with Polar White Flower Soft or glitter for the hat trims
- B1815 Fleece Navidad in Festive Berries stamped directly on the Index Card
