That's right – Munich is full of Memory Box fans. On a recent trip to Germany I had the great pleasure of visiting the Stamper's Oasis in Munich where I met the owner, Renate. She was gracious enough to meet me there on her day off so I could see the store and chat with her about "stamping stuff" and more specifically, Memory Box. Here she is with her latest shipment of Memory Box dies:
She told me she can't keep the dies in stock. They sell out just as fast as she can get them. Her customers just love Dave's dies! Don't we all?! It was really fun to see her small, but very well-stocked store. A real treasure trove for paper crafters. I could have stayed and played at her store all day. Unfortunately, my husband had other ideas about how to spend time in Germany – go figure!
Renate showed me this neat idea that one of her customers did on the back of a card using a Memory Box die last Christmas:
Isn't that sweet? The card is kraft, as is the die cut. What a nice way to finish off your holiday cards. The back is just as pretty as the front! Sometimes the card is the gift, right?
I'm sure our fellow crafters in Germany are just as excited about the What's In The Box 2012 release as we all are here in the states. Soooo many gorgeous new stamps and dies to play with for fall, Halloween and Christmas. Thanks for sharing the idea on decorating the back of the card. I usually only put my Create by stamps and name on it. I do like this idea.
