Snowy Pines
by Lindsay

Hello!

I am so happy you've stopped by today! I have a winter themed card to share with you, using the lovely Fresh Pine Landscape die. As the temperature drops here in Northeastern Ohio, I am mentally preparing myself for the snow, even if it is cardmaking with a snow theme!

I began with a white card base, and sponged on blue ink, using a foam blending tool. Using white acrylic paint, I added some water to it, and flicked a little bit onto the card front. I then allowed that to dry, and white it did, I worked on my snowy tree hill.

I die cut the piece from water color card stock, and applied the paint using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Working in layers, I added more color on the left side of the trees, and some gray shadows underneath them. Once I was happy with the color and saturation, I allowed it to dry, and die cut three more from regular card stock. I stacked them together using liquid glue, and adhered the piece to my card base.

I stamped a sentiment from the Snowglobe Wishes stamp set, and adhered a few sequins to finish the card. Do you have this die, and how have you used it? I would love to know!

Thanks so much for visiting today!
