A Shining Candle
by Penny Ward

Hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with this super simple glowing card. A few die cuts with vellum background creates a subtle glow when you add a tealight candle. Such a fun card to send to friends and family.

Let me show you how:

Start with 110lb Black cardstock measuring 10 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches. Score this panel at 1/2 inch and 5 1/2 inch. This will be your easel.

Cut another piece of the Black cardstock 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Die cut the center with Stitched Oval Layers. Take a large scrap of Black cardstock and die cut Pine Candle Oval Frame.

Adhere the Candle Frame to Oval . (Yes, it is a perfect fit).

Adhere a large scrap of Vellum behind the candle.

Adhere this front panel to the 1/2 inch scored easel. Use bone folder to make sharp creases so the card will fold nicely.

Die cut Candlelit Shine from Silver Mirrored cardstock and adhere to card front as shown.

Die cut Holiday Twigs from Green Glitter cardstock. Slide twigs between the candle and Vellum, adhere a few branches.

Finish the card by sliding the edges along a Delicata Shimmery Silver inkpad.

Die cut a section of Holly Flourish from Green Glitter cardstock. Adhere to card base and add Autumn Red Crystal Drops.

Send the card as is or include a tealight candle for a little something, something.

Happy Holiday Crafting,

Supplies
