Holiday Twigs and Snowberry Sprigs by Jean Okimoto

Tuck the Holiday Twigs and Snowberry Sprigs into Simple Garden Pots for an easy Christmas greeting.  Use the detailed outer frame – from the Delicate Pine Frame set – with its interior rectangle as the backdrop for a trio of pots.  Tiny birds from the frame set and gem stickers add holiday sparkle.

Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a layered, textured design that’s simple – but very detailed.  Cut the frame from smooth white cardstock – leave both the frame and the inner rectangle in the die.  Attach ¼” wide Scor-Tape.  Flip the die over onto a 4-½” x 6-¼” white card and press it firmly to adhere both pieces.

Cut three of the small Simple Garden Pots from silver textured paper.

Cut Snowberry Sprigs from two shades of red cardstock.  Cut the larger Holiday Twig from green cardstock.  Tuck the stems into the slotted pots and tape them to the back of the pots.  Trim the excess.

Cut the tiny birds from gold glittered paper.

Assemble the card.  Add clear gem stickers.

Holiday greenery diecuts like these sprigs and twigs are perfect for gift tags too.  They quickly grow into potted plants when slipped into the slotted garden pots.  Use them as fillers for diecut bouquets.  Snip them into smaller pieces and use them to accent diecut wreaths.   Many possibilities!
