Merry Christmas Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It’s Isha with you today. As I wrote in my last post, I just started playing with the new holiday collection and it’s so difficult to stop.  Have you started creating your Christmas cards already? We have a wide range of dies and not to forget the adorable stamps too 🙂

So, for today’s card I used the new stamps and dies and created this fun scene using distress inks and zig clean color real brush markers as my watercolors.

I started by creating a top folding card using dark blue cardstock. I then cut a mat layer from watercolor paper. I dabbed some distress inks to the craft mat and used them as watercolors to create the background. Let it dry.

I die-cut the lamp post and the branches, colored them with zig clean color markers. I then stamped the images and colored them. Now I adhered all the elements to the card and flicked some white paint.

Finally, I added some glossy accent to the lamp and added novo crystal drops here and there to create the glowing snow 🙂

Here is a close up.

Hope you got inspired from today’s card. Have a wonderful crafty day!
