Thinking of You

Good morning everyone!

I hope everyone is well and finding some time to be creative during these uncertain times.

For today’s card I started by making a background using stencils and texture paste.  I mixed the texture paste with a little orange paint and some glitter glue to give it some sparkle.  I then applied the mixture through a stencil using a palette knife.  I had enough mixture to make a couple backgrounds. I used one today and will keep one for another project.

After the texture paste dried I used a blending brush to apply some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to my background.  I also spattered the background with dark blue paint. I cut a strip of  glitter paper and glued it to the left side of the background.

Next I stamped several flowers from the Friendship Floral Heart clear stamp set onto watercolor paper and painted them using Zig Watercolor Markers.  I fussy cut the flowers and glued them to my card.

On a strip of black cardstock I white embossed the sentiment and glued this to the card.

To finish the card I added some Lemon Drop Glitter Glue to the center of the flowers.
