Happy Friday! Today I have another Summer themed card featuring new products from the new Under the Sea release.
To create the background for the card, I began by adhering scrap strips of blue cardstock to a piece of white cardstock.
I trimmed the background and embossed it with the Waves 3D embossing folder. Next I lightly rubbed a white pigment ink pad over the embossed background and spattered it with orange and white paint.
Using watercolor paper, I die cut the octopus and fish. Next I used Distress Ink to color the die cuts. The rope was cut from kraft cardstock and inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink.
To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the embossed background to a white cardstock mat. I glued blue cardstock strips to each end of the white cardstock and adhered it to a white card base.
Next I glued the rope die cut to the card front and used foam tape to adhere the Octopus and Fish.
On a strip of black cardstock I white embossed the sentiment and glued that to the card using foam tape.
To finish the card, I glued some Fairy Drops to look like bubbles.
