Say HI with the New Balloon Bunch and Twiggy Alphabet by Jean Okimoto

Balloons aren’t just for celebrations and special occasions.  Why not send a balloon card to say hello and let someone know you’re thinking about them?  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with two new designs from our Summer Daydreams Collection – the fun Ballloon Bunch and slender Twiggy Alphabet.

Spray colorful ink-blended cardstock with Imagine’s Frost Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  Air-dry it for a few minutes, then heat-set it.

Here’s a tip.  It’s easy to find the right blend of colors for the balloons without the distraction of the surrounding areas if you cut a template from contrasting cardstock and use it to select the area to diecut. Place the die in the template and cut the balloons.

The “strings” are cut with the Graceful Jellyfish die, then trimmed and attached to the balloons.

Cut the Twiggy Alphabet greeting background from a light green 6×6 in the Lush Green Collection.  Cut the contrasting letters from the turquoise Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad 6×6 sheet.

Cut the largest Stylish Rectangle from a dark blue 6×6 in the Ocean Blue Collection.

Attach the diecuts to a white A-6 card (4-½” x 6-¼”) – use foamtape at the top of each balloon.

Add a small gold cord bow and sparkly Clear Jewels.

Why not make a bunch of balloon cards in different colors and have them ready for any occasion…or just to say hello?  As an alternative – cut the balloons from different colors of Memory Box 6×6 Glitter or Polished Foil Pads and use coordinating colors of our 6×6 paper collections for the greetings.

Thanks for visiting…have a great weekend!
