Two Cards- Freshwater Fish & Confetti Dot Hot Foil Plate
by Angie Cimbalo

Hello and welcome, it’s Angie here today with two cards featuring new products from the latest release.

My first card is a slimline card using two fish from the combination “Freshwater Fish” stencil and embossing folder set.  The background for my card was ink blended with lots of blues.  Once it dried, I ran it through my hot foil machine using the “Confetti Dot” hot foil plate and some gold foil.  Here’s a closer look:

I colored the fish with Distress Inks and watercolor markers and then fussy cut them out.  Next I splashed some water on the background to make more dots on it.  I added the two fish and then a sentiment from “You Anchor Me” stamp set.  It was stamped in brown ink on a stitched rectangle die.  Lastly I added water droplets from Memory Box and added the blue panel to a slimline size card base.  Here’s one last look:

Now, here’s a look at my second card:

I made this card the same way except I used very little ink on the background and I used Memory Box watercolor card stock.

Here’s a closer look at this card.  You can see I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock with white embossing powder.

And here’s one last look at my card:

I hope you like my cards for today!  Be sure to come back each day to the blog for more inspiration from the design team!
