Hello everyone. I have a “spooky” Halloween card to share today featuring the Boiling Cauldron die from the current 2023 Fall release.
If the cauldron looks a bit different from its original design, it’s because I took creative licence and turned the bubbling steam into drips. The cauldron was die cut from dark grey cardstock and ink blended with Black Soot distress ink (DI) using a blender brush. The bubbles/drip and Twiggy Alphabet letters were die cut from light green cardstock, and shaded with Twisted Citron DI. The ghosts were die cut from white cardstock and shading/glow added to them with Copic Sketch markers YG21/23.

The broom was created from sand color cardstock. Trimmed and stacked together two-1/8” wide strips for the handle, then sandwiched it between two broom brush heads from the Flying Witch die. Added details/texture to it with Copic Sketch markers E30/31/33/35. The background panel is the same light green color cardstock and was spotlight ink blended with Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness and Black Soot DI’s. Assembled the card onto a split black/white card base, then added highlights with a white gel pen to finish.

That does it for my card. Thank you for joining me today.

This is spooktacular, Trina. I love the way you sponged around the cauldron to make it so spooky. One of the greatest Halloween cards I’ve seen.
Love this bubbly brew and the green glow! Spooky and fun!
This is so great! I love how your ink blending created such a glow!
