Merry and Quick by Jean Okimoto

Be merry – and quick – with fail-proof instant greetings.   Create just-in-time cards with tools and supplies that eliminate coloring, measuring, guessing and stamping.  Hi, Jean here with a quick and easy design for another busy weekend.

Cut white cardstock with the die from the Vintage Tray 3D Embossing Folder and Die Set.  You’ll have 5 diecuts perfectly-proportioned to use with the Poinsettia Rub-Ons.

Cut the rub-on designs – leave a generous border around the images.  Carefully remove the paper liner and lightly press the transfer onto the diecuts.  Place it between two layers of printer paper and run it through a diecut machine using plates you’d use for basic diecutting.  Carefully remove the frosty plastic layer.

Cut pink cardstock with the 3-¾” wide A2 Rectangle Frames die.  Attach everything to a pink A2 card.

Attach a Merry Christmas Foil Greetings Rose (colored) Tab with foam tape. These new instant-greetings are in a set of 40 – 4 each of 10 typefaces to match any holiday design.

Add yellow Bright Jewels to the poinsettia. Attach lime green Bright Jewels to each of the rub-on blocks.  Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Mix and match the different poinsettia, foliage and berry rub-ons for Christmas and holiday thank-you cards.  They’re great for gift tags and placecards too!  Attach them to a miniature evergreen for a very special Christmas display or centerpiece.

Thanks for visiting…see you next week!
