3D Embossed Anemone Collage by Jean Okimoto

Inky highlights call attention to the details of the new Anemone Drift 3D Embossing Folder and Die Set.  Remember way back when pressure embossing meant a hand-embossing with a lightbox and stylus?   Thank goodness for embossing folders that make it so easy to create cards now! Hi, Jean here with another design from our January Anemone Collection.

Trim a light blue/lavender 6×6 from the Twilight Purple Collection to about 5″ x 6″ and spritz both sides with a light mist of water.  Emboss it with the Anemone Drift 3D Embossing Folder.

Highlight the design with inks – shaded lilac and mowed lawn Distress Oxides were used here.  Dry the inks, then cut the tray usng the  die from the Vintage Tray set.

Cut the tray again from a light blue 6×6 from the Ocean Blue pack. We’re using just the frame here – I inked the woodgrain diecuts for another project.  Attach it to a  pale lavender A2 card.  Add the embossed/inked anemone pieces.

Cut two backgrounds from Hello Debut Script set and glue them together for dimension. Cut the  detailed top layer from a dark blue Stormy Blue 6×6.  Assemble the greeting.

Attach everything to a light lavender A2 card.  Add blue Bright Jewels.

Thanks for visiting!
