Send special hugs with layered anemones from our latest collection. It can be a Valentine design, friendship card or note of encouragement. Hi, Jean here with a mix of stashed favorites and three new die sets from our January Anemone Collection. The Garland 6×6 set of seasonal florals includes a print to pair with our latest designs.
Cut the anemone print with the largest Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out die. The stitches are part of the die’s outline – we’re using just the heart insert here.
Cut Anemone Blooms from peach cardstock – cut an extra stamen. Color the stamens with a black marker and set them aside to dry. Assemble the blossoms – add the extra stamen to the “closed” anemone.
Cut the sepals and leaves of the Anemone Bud Duo set from green cardstock. Attach the sepals to the anemones. Remove one of the larger leaves. Attach the anemones and leaves to the heart – use foam tape for the top halves of the flowers.
Glue two pieces of natural cardstock together for dimension and cut the solid Hugs Debut Script background. Prep the detailed die by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper – it’ll help release the delicate diecut. Cut the greeting from peach cardstock.
Attach the diecuts to a side-folded natural A2 card – use foam tape for the greeting. Trim the corners with a corner rounding punch. Add lime green Bright Jewels. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
