Hugs Anemone Card
by Donna Sledzik

Good morning everyone!  I have another card featuring the new Anemone release.

I started by dry embossing navy blue cardstock using the new 3D Anemone Drift embossing folder.  Next, I lightly rubbed a white pigment ink pad across the embossed cardstock to highlight the flowers.  I cut the embossed panel at an angle and adhered it to a A2 white card base.

I cut a thin strip of gold metallic cardstock and glued it next to the embossed layer.

The anemones and leaves were all cut from white cardstock and inked with Distress Ink.

Flowers: Squeezed Lemon and Wild Honey Distress Inks were used

Leaves: Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Inks were used

Flower Centers: Black Soot Distress Ink

I glued the flowers together and adhered them to the card along with the leaves.

Next, I spattered gold ink on the top half of the card.

To finish the card, I die cut the word “hugs” from metallic gold cardstock and glued it to a white cardstock shadow die cut.

That’s it for today!  Thanks for stopping by!
