Combine two great new greetings from our Spring Cheer Collection with the bold and beautiful blossom from January’s Anemone Collection. It’s a spring mix of big, little, pastel, bright, plaid, solid, glossy, metallic and matte…all on one card! Hi, Jean here with a very layered design today.
We’re using 3 consecutive sizes of the Square Basics dies to frame and highlight the anemone. Cut a lavender 6×6 from the Twilight Purple Collection with the 2-¾” square die. Cut a light lavender 6×6 with the 3″ square die. Cut the lavender + gold Anemone Plaid 6×6 with the 3-¼” square die.
Cut the White Anemone Rub On – leave a generous margin around it. Carefully remove the paper liner. Tap the design onto the 3″ square. Place it between 2 sheets of printer paper and run it through a diecut machine using the plates you’d use for basic diecutting. Carefully remove the frosty plastic liner.
Adhere a 1″ x 2-¾” piece of ScoreTape to a dark purple sheet from the Twilight Purple Collection. Cut the Friend Daily Script background.
Cut detailed Friend Daily Script layer from the light lavender sheet – keep the semi-circle for the top of the “e” and the oval for the “d” for the next step. Save the letters for another project.
Attach the diecut to the adhesive-covered background – save the tape liner. Add the saved semi-circle and oval. Use the saved liner to press the diecuts firmly onto the adhesive. Cover the greeting with detail clear embossing powder, tap off the excess, and carefully heat-emboss the greeting. It’s adhered, embossed and glossy!
Attach the squares to a white A6 card (4-½” x 6-¼”) – use foam tape near the top corners of the squares for extra lift.
Attach a precut embossed greeting from the new Thank You Foil Greetings White Tabs, then add “friend.” The 40-piece foil greetings tab set includes 4 each of 10 great designs ranging from bold and elegant to delicate and contemporary. There’s a greeting for everyone!
