Azure Dragonfly Birthday Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have a birthday card featuring the new Azure Dragonflies dies.  These are so beautiful and easy to color to create an amazing card.

Dragonflies:

Die cut the Azure Dragonflies bodies from heavy white card stock.  Spray with Distress Mica Stain Hocuspocus and Bubbling Cauldron.  Die cut the dragonfly’s wings from heavy weight vellum.  Color with Breakup Blue Lunar Paste, apply lightly.  Let dry.  Glue together using the envelope as a guide.

Background:

Use a light greenish blue from the Lagoon paper pack. and trim to A2 size  Add Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire to the inside of the Waves 3D Embossing Folder and the trimmed paper and run through your die cutting machine.  Dry the ink.  Breyer on white gesso to just add white to the top of the waves.  Let dry.  Trim down to 4″ x 5 1/4″.

Assembly:

Cut the darkest blue from the Lagoon paper pack to A2 size.  Adhere the Wave background panel.  Adhere the dragonflies to the center of the waves.  Adhere some light blue Christmas Fairy Crystals and Clear Fairy Jewels around the dragonflies.  Adhere a Happy Birthday Greeting Black Circle Tab to the lower left hand side.  Adhere to a A2 side folder white note card.
