Greetings friends. Today I want to share a card that uses acrylic paints with one of the Memory Box embossing folders. To start my card, I ran white cardstock through my die cut machine using the Pinecones and Berries embossing folder. Don’t forget to spritz your paper lightly with water before running it through the die cut machine to help prevent any cracking of the paper:

This picture shows the raised side of the paper, but I used the flat side to add the paint:

Tips for adding paint to the image:
Use a brayer to apply your paints to the paper.
Use very light pressure so that you don’t get paint in all of the grooves.
Use a light application of paint. I often load up some paint onto my brayer and then roll it onto some scrap paper to get rid of some of the excess paint.
Use something soft under the item you are brayering. I used a Gelli plate, but you could also use a magazine.
For my card, I used a combination of blue, purple and green paint:

To finish my card, I added my joy sentiment along with a clear rhinestone. I used some of the Memory Box Deep Turquoise paper as a background layer and for my joy die.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
