Hello everyone. Birthday cards are my second favorite type of cards to make, so I was thrilled to see the current 2025 Birthday Wishes release. And since I love rainbow anything, I created a fun rainbow cake birthday card featuring the Birthday Party Cake die.
The cake, icing (stretched the Boiling Cauldron die) and back sentiment layer were die cut from alcohol marker friendly paper and colored/shaded with Copic Sketch markers.
Copic markers used:
pink – RV04
orange – YR04
yellow – Y06
green – YG07
blue – BG05
purple – V15
whites/shading – W00/1/3
The candle and top sentiment layer were die cut from white glitter paper. The background is Bristol paper die cut with the Bubble Dots Plate. Assembled the card onto a white card base, popping up the cake and sentiment with a couple of pieces of cardtstock for dimension. Grounded the cake using Copic Sketc markers C00/1/3/5 to finish.
