Wedding Cake by Theary Chea

Hello friends, it’s Theary on the blog again. I am sharing a congratulatory card using the Party Layer Cake dies today.

I love the Birthday Wishes Release, but I wanted to stretch the supplies and use them in a different format, so I created a wedding-themed card.

I cut the Party Layer craft die from a sheet of pattern paper from the Gladiola Plaid 6×6 pack. I love the foil accent from the sheet, which adds a touch of elegance to the cake.

I decorated the layered cake with flowers cut from the Lucky Blooms craft dies and a cute little bird from the Bird Blossoms craft dies.

I used a basic frame die to cut it once out of cream-colored cardstock and three out of heavy white cardstock, which I layered together. I then adhered it to a sheet of pattern paper from the Poinsettias Garland paper pad that I trimmed to 4.25 inches by 5.50 inches.

I used the Congrats Marker Scripts sentiment craft dies that I die-cut from the Glossy Black Cardstock. This glossy cardstock is my absolute favorite for cutting out sentiments. I adhered to the basic frame die cut on the bottom right with liquid adhesive.

I later adhered it to a top folding card base and added a few embellishments from the Autumn Fairy Jewels.

And that is it! I hope you enjoyed this inspirational take on the Party Layer Cake. Until next time!

Have a wonderful day!
